Survival Machine

In 1999 I was working at Jumbo Pictures (the Disney studio in New York City at that time).  I and four other animators working there decided we wanted to band our skills together and publish some really cool comics.  The result was Monkeysuit Press, which published 5 highly acclaimed comics anthologies over the next five years, as well as any number of one-offs and monographs.  Among our contributors were: co-founder Christopher McCullough (aka Jackson Publick, creator of adult swim’s Venture Brothers, Mo Willems, creator of the best-selling Pigeon children’s books, and Enrico Casarosa, director of Pixar’s Luca.  Survival Machine (Stories) is a collection of my contributions to the Monkeysuit Anthologies—and one story, Dying Inside, was created just for this volume.
